Mr. Bhawani Shankar Gupta (Secretary cum CEO) SUPPORT

Mr. Bhawani Shankar Gupta works in the capacity of Secretary cum Chief Executive Officer in SUPPORT. He is having long experience in development sector since 1986. From June 1986 to June 1998, he worked in Holy Cross Social Service Centre as development professional. During this period, his major work domain includes SHG-Bank linkages, DPAP & NABARD Watershed management program, Sericulture and Horticulture program. The foundation stone of “SUPPORT” was laid down on 10th July 1998 by an experienced team of professionals under his leadership. With his commitment and passion, today SUPPORT has been ranked one among the prestigious non-profit non-governmental organization the state of Jharkhand. He has expertise in Holy Cross Social Service Centre, SHG bank linkage program and NRM, program execution, strategic planning, social enterprise development, livelihood, enterprise promotion, microfinance, health, participatory monitoring & evaluation and human resource development. He has completed PGDM-RD from XISS, Ranchi (1884-1886batch). He holds several international exposures with excellence in Women Self Help Group, NRM, Livelihood generation and Institution building.


Mr. Shahdev Ganguly (Treasurer cum Finance Manager)

Mr. Shahdev Ganguly holds the position of Treasurer cum Finance Manager in SUPPORT. He has completed his graduation from Markham College of Commerce. He is associated with SUPPORT since 2003 and is actively coordinating the organization in its various spheres and thematic domains. He has an active role in managing the roles and responsibilities of entire staffs. He has specialization in Micro-finance and Financial management. With his enormous efforts, this organization has reached a new height and has spread its wing in multidisciplinary fields.


Mr. Abhishek Shankar (Ast. HR)

Abhishek Shankar works in the position of Ast. HR in SUPPORT. He completed his schooling from St.Xaviers, Hazaribagh, received his bachelor’s degree from BIT, Mesra, Ranchi in the field of Management and Master’s from Xavier Institute of Social Service (XISS), Ranchi in the field of Rural Development. He started his professional carrier with International Ngo Operation Asha (OpASHA) in the position of Senior Programme Manager (SPM) based in New Delhi. After that he joined JSWM, Ranchi as independent consultant of Watershed programme. With prospects of national priority, Abhishek joined India’s biggest emerging brand, “Patanjali Ayurved Limited”, Uttarakhand positioned as Young Professional (Team Lead) leading the Hardwar base region and was associated with “Patanjali” for continuous 3 years. From 2016 onwards, he is associated with SUPPORT in the position of Ast. HR and leading a team professional and field staff.


Mr. Ravindra Kumar Singh (District Coordinator)

Mr. Ravindra Singh is holding the post of District Coordinator in SUPPORT. He has completed graduation from Ranchi University and Masters in Rural Development from IGNOU. He is associated to SUPPORT since 2000 and has served continuously to frame it a well – developed organization. During his working tenure, he has nurtured himself as master trainer in thematic domains. He has expertise in watershed management and handles major projects based on livelihood generation and watershed planning.


Mr. Kuldeep Kumar (Branch Coordinator)

Mr. Kuldeep Kumar is Branch Coordinator positioned at Mandu, Ramgarhin SUPPORT. He is associated to social sector since 1990 and is comprehensively experienced. Prior to it he was working in N.B.J.K, Bahera Ashram,Chauparan on dairy development program, Avidyavimukti Sansthan, Bodhgaya as SHG coordinator in NABARD, Holy-cross social service center, Hazaribagh as supervisor in watershed program. He has also got training on Para-vet, Artificial insemination, WSHG, livestock and backyard poultry and FPO. After working in multiple fields he is capacitated for the post of Branch coordinator at SUPPORT. He has special skills on capacity building, institutional development, consultancy and training.


Mr. Binod Singh (District Program Manager)

Mr. Binod Singh is capacitated with the post of District Program Manager in SUPPORT since 2012. He is associated to development sector from last 25 years and has wide area of experience in various fields. He has done MSc in mathematics, MA in rural development And Masters in Business Administration . Prior to it he was working in some of the reputed organizations namely PACS, IGNOU, NIOS, Vishesh Shiksha Kendra, Jan shikshansansthan. Through experiences he has expertise in environment building, micro planning, finance management, Personnel management and research and development.


Mr. Tinku Ram (Chief Accountant)

Mr. Tinku Ram is holding the post of Chief Accountant at SUPPORT since 2014. He has graduated in commerce from Vinoba Bhave University. He has over 10 years of experience in accountancy field. Prior to it, he was working as Accountant in S.G. Agencies Hazaribagh ,N.B.J.K Head Office Chouparan, Singhbhum Gramodyog Vikassansthan (S.G.V.S), CINI Dhanbad. He is involved in the financial assessment and monitoring review assignments.


Mr. Ramchandra Prasad (Accountant)

Mr. Ramchandra Prasad is holding the post of Accountant in SUPPORT since 2013. He is graduated in commerce from Vinoba Bhave University. He has started his career from SUPPORT and is continuously working with full dedication.


Mr. Awadh Kishore Prajapati (Accountant)

Mr. Awadh Kishore Prajapati works in the capacity of Accountant and associated to SUPPORT since 2013. He has done his graduation from Markham College of Commerce Hazaribagh and M.com from Vinoba Bhave University Hazaribagh. He has got expertise in computer applications. His areas of competencies are finalization of accounts, handling audit queries, taxation, service tax and other related matters. He has started his career from thus organization and established himself a lot.


Mr. Mukesh Kumar (Project Manager)

Mr. Mukesh Kumar serves as the Project Manager at SUPPORT. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics Honours from Ranchi College, Ranchi and later pursued a Post-Graduate Diploma Management in Rural Management from Xavier Institution of Social Service (XISS) in Ranchi. His professional journey began at HCL Foundation CSR wing in Hardoi district, U.P, where he joined as a Project Associate and was subsequently promoted to the position of Associate Project Coordinator.


Mr. Virendra Kr Verma ( Asstt. Team Leader )

Mr.Virendra Kr Verma Works in the position of Asstt. Team Leader cum Farm Livelihood Expert in ERADA (giZ) Project in SUPPORT. He completed his Matriculation from Bihar School Examination Board, Patna and did his graduation in Personal Management & Industrial Relation from Ranchi University, Ranchi in the year 1987 and got his Master’s degree in Rural Development from Mahatma Gandhi University, Meghalaya. He started his professional career with Jharkhand based leading NGO, BVA in the position of Program Manager. After serving 6 yrs to BVA he joined World Vision India, ADP-Giridh.After 1 year with World Vision India he joined STAR UNION DAI-ICHI Life Insurance as Dy.Manager (Training) After serving 3 years in STAR UNION DAI-ICHI he joined SUPPORT in the year 2015 and since then he has been serving the Organization in different position.


Mr. Kaushik Kumar ( Area coordinator )

Mr. Kaushik kumar works in the position of Area coordinator in SUPPORT, He completed his schooling From TATA DAV Public School West Bokaro Division Ghatotand Ramgarh, Done his Bachelors From college of Commerce patna and His Masters From XISS, Ranchi in Rural Management. He is Seasoned professional with 7+ years of experience in Different Prestigious NGOs of Jharkhand Namely Vikas Bharti Bishunpur, JTDS, SUPPORT possess expertise in project management, social mobilization, and liaising with multiple stakeholders at the Panchayat, Block, and District level. His proven track record includes successful implementation of a range of projects, including those related to CSR, holistic development, youth mobilization, smart school education, skills development programs, income generation activities through FPOs, livelihood, and awareness campaigns. His skills in mobilizing grass-root organizations, liaising with stakeholders, and advocating for various causes have been instrumental in achieving project goals and objectives. Additionally, his proficiency in implementing and monitoring project activities, managing project budgets and resources, and providing guidance to project teams have contributed to project success. He have collaborated with diverse teams and stakeholders, including government agencies, community-based organizations, and NGOs, to achieve project goals. His experience in working with these stakeholders has also equipped him with excellent interpersonal, communication, and networking skills.


Mr. Nitish Badal (Team leader)

Mr. Nitish Kumar badal work as Team leader (CFT-MGNREGA) in SUPPORT since 2017. He completed his schooling from MODEL DAV school, Dhanbad receive his bachelor's degree in English Hon's from Magadh university GAYA and technical degree in Diploma in civil from SBTE Ranchi. He started his professional career as junior engineer in Surya realcon PVT LTD after that he joined PRADAN lohardaga as INRM Expert of CFT programme


Mr. Avijit Jana (Program Manager)

Mr. Avijit Jana works in the Position of Program Manager (PIP). He has completed his Matriculation from W.B.B.S.E. Passed in 1998, Intermediate (Arts) From W.B.B.H.S.E. (West Bengal) Passed in 2002, Bachelors Degree From Vidyasagar University West Bengal Passed in 2003, Master degree from Vidyasagar University (West Bengal) Passed in 2005 and Professional qualification of Master degree in Rural Development from IGNOU passed in2013. He started his professional carrier with PRADAN Worked on 5th November 2007 as Project Assistant in PRADAN (Professional Assistance for Development Action) Khunti, Jharkhand and implemented various projects (JTDS, AVRDC, TRIFED, Spl. SGSY , NRLM ) in remote villages of Khunti district Jharkhand. After that he joined Torpa Mahilasangh Torpa, Khunti on 1st Aprti 2014 as federation manager of Partnership with JSLPS and PRADAN to implement NRLM project. From 2017 February onwards, he is associated with SUPPORT in the Position of Program manager of “LakhpatiKisan- Misson2020: Smart village” (PIP Programme)

He has 11 years’ experience of working in Rural Development, promoting and nurturing women SHGs, Village organizations, Production group (PG) Cluster level federations, farmer producer company(FPC) and Block federation through Community Mobilization, Staff Grooming and Nurturing, reporting to the authority and leverage with difference stakeholders work as Program manager promoting federation, FPC and various Livelihood opportunities like SRI, scientific vegetable cultivation(high value agriculture), Piggery, Lac cultivation, fishery, Poultry, back yard poultry, goatry and entrepreneurs development etc. and implementing various projects (AVRDC, E&Y, BRLF,JOHAR “LakhpatiKisan- Misson2020: Smart village” ) in remote villages of Khunti and Hazaribag district Jharkhand.


Mrs. Sujata Prasad (Program Manager)

Mrs. Sujata Prasad is capacitated with the post of Program Manager in SUPPORT. She is associated to service sector for more than 20 years and has diverse experience in various fields. She has completed her PGDRD from XISS during the session 1991-1993. Before joining this organization she has worked as state program manager in NBJK. She was looking after the disability rights project in 3 districts in Jharkhandand 2 districts in Bihar. More than this she has coordinated 11 vocational training centres in 10 districts of Jharkhand, for the education of primary and secondary children and has been their master trainer. She has worked as a training consultant for 3 NGOs , viz., Jan UtthanSamiti, Ranchi, Sinduar Tola Gramoday Vikas Vidyala,(SGVV) Rania Block Ranchi , Gramin Vikas Trust, Tupudana, Ranchi, from April 1999 to Dec’04.
